Sami, Veterinary Technician, Office Manager
Sami joined the Bryan Road Animal Hospital team in March 2014 as a veterinary technician after obtaining her associates degree in animal science from the Vet Tech Institute at Hickey College. She is now known as our Office Manager who supports our clients and team in any capacity.
"I really enjoy getting to know our clients' families and their pets. I also have the best team to work with and truly look forward to coming into work."
Sami has a very spoiled crew of pets - a basset hound named Edna, chickens, and ducks. When not at work, she enjoys loving on her animals, spending family time with her husband and two young children, being outdoors and gardening.
Liz, Registered Veterinary Technician
As an organized and efficient full-time member of our team since July of 2014, Liz is known for her love of everything cat related, even kitten nail trims! Liz has her Associate Degree from the Veterinary Technician Institute at Hickey College and is Fear-Free Certified.
“I love animals as it is, but being able to work with such an amazing team and clientele makes helping care for pets even more rewarding.”
When she is not working, Liz enjoys trying new food, going on hiking adventures and strolling through farmers markets or thrift stores. She has 3 cats named Franky, Garcia and Jade and has been teaching Franky tricks since she was a kitten! Sit, high-five, up, paw and turn around are what she has mastered so far!"
Morgan, Registered Veterinary Technician
Morgan has been with the Bryan Road team since October of 2017. She is known for her fun personality and has exceptional client education skills. She has an associate’s degree in applied science from the Vet Tech program at Jefferson College and is also fear-free certified.
“I really love working with the amazing doctors and technicians at Bryan Road. I also appreciate our fear free approach as it really makes for a happy and stress-free visit,” she says about working at Bryan Road Animal Hospital.
At home, Morgan has a shih tzu mix named Bayley and two cats named Apollo and Poppy. When not at work, she enjoys attending St. Louis Cardinals, Blues and Battlehawk games. She also enjoys visiting coffee shops and farmers’ markets, and taking walks/hikes on local trails.
Heather, Registered Veterinary Technician
Heather has been a part of the Bryan Road team since May of 2017. She brings to our team an honest and caring attitude.
One of her favorite parts of her job is assisting with surgery. When asked about her favorite part of working at Bryan Road, she says, “I love the amazing technicians and doctors I get to work with. I get the opportunity to learn something new every day.”
At home, Heather has 3 pitbulls, Phoenix, Said, and Ranger. She also has two short-haired cats, Milo and Tucker. She also cares for several kinds of fish! When not at work, Heather enjoys growing flowers, walking her dogs, spending time with her family and watching TV.
Taylor, Veterinary Technician
Taylor has been with the Bryan Road team since July of 2019. She graduated from the Vet Tech program at Hickey College in 2013 with a specialized associate’s degree in veterinary technology. She has empathy and compassion for all of her patients!
When asked about what she enjoys about working at Bryan Road, she says, “I love the team atmosphere here and the way we all work together. We work, but also are able to have a good time while doing it!”
Taylor has many pets at home including a boxer mix named Roxie, a heeler-corgi named Rosie, a tripod tortie cat named Bisty, a shorthaired cat named Charlie, and cares for several outdoor barn cats as well as chickens!
When not at work, Taylor loves being outdoors - hiking, camping, rafting, and having bonfires. She also loves baking, spending time with her husband and their dogs, attending country music concerts, and traveling out west.
Rachel, Registered Veterinary Technician
Rachel has been with the Bryan Road team since the spring of 2021. She has a bachelor’s degree in marine biology and an associate’s degree in veterinary technology. She has been a licensed veterinary technician since 2016 in both South Carolina and then in New York.
Her job duties include educating clients about their pet’s wellbeing, assisting the doctor with wellness, puppy/kitten, and sick visits, and assisting with surgery and dentals. She has a wide skill set with behavioral consults and fear-free happy visits.
At home, Rachel has 3 dogs and 2 cats. When not at work, she enjoys crocheting, playing video games, camping, and boating on the lake.
Melissa, Registered Veterinary Technician
Melissa has been with the Bryan Road team since July of 2021. She graduated from the Vet Tech program at Hickey College in 2018 and has an associate’s degree in veterinary technology. She is also feline-friendly certified along with being fear-free certified.
She is adaptable and absolutely devoted to her patients. Some of her favorite job duties include client education and continuing to learn new things on a daily basis.
When asked about what she enjoys about working at Bryan Road, she says, “I get to work with others who are just as passionate as I am about pets!”
At home, Melissa has 3 cats - a long-haired tortie named Charlie, a blind Maine Coon mix named Enzo, and a gray short-hair named Fergus. She also has a Border Collie/German Shepherd mix dog named Buck.
When she’s not working, Melissa spends her time scrapbooking, writing/journaling, planning trips to and going to Disney World, watching scary movies, and spending time with her family and friends.
Alicia, Veterinary Technician
Alicia has been part of the Bryan Road team since the fall of 2021. She has an associate’s degree in animal science.
She brightens our animal hospital with her laughter and great sense of humor, helping everyone have a great day! She loves educating clients on puppy/kitten care, vaccinations, and prevention, and finds great satisfaction in watching them grow and bond with others.
When asked about what she enjoys about working at Bryan Road, she says, “I love working at BRAH because everyone here is so amazing. I am constantly learning new things and getting to work with a variety of different species.”
At home, she has a Doberman named Mydas and an Australian Shepherd named Jax. When she is not at work, she loves reading, binging her favorite TV shows, attempting to keep her house plants alive, hanging out with her friends and children, and traveling to places she’s never been.
Dana, Registered Veterinary Technician
Dana joined Bryan Road Animal Hospital as a Registered Veterinary Technician on July 15, 2024. With a strong background in veterinary care, Dana is responsible for providing nursing care, performing anesthetic induction and monitoring, conducting dental prophylaxis, and educating clients. She particularly excels in her roles as an anesthetist and surgery technician and has a special affinity for caring for cat patients. Dana’s calm demeanor and quick learning ability make her a valuable asset to our team.
Dana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology. She became a registered veterinary technician in Missouri in 2021 after passing the Veterinary Technician National Exam. Her career in the animal-related field began in August 2019 as a technician assistant. Dana adopted her beloved cat, Juniper, a 5-year-old domestic shorthair, during her third semester of tech school, where Juniper was her advocate.
She is a member of both The Missouri Veterinary Technicians Association (MOVTA) and National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA), reflecting her commitment to the veterinary profession. Dana is enthusiastic about working at Bryan Road Animal Hospital because of its commitment to a healthy work-life balance and its supportive team environment. Outside of work, Dana enjoys reading, exploring new restaurants, traveling, spending time with family, and baking desserts.

Lori, Customer Service Representative
Lori has been a part of our team since October of 2021. She loves interacting with the animals and visiting with clients with a great sense of humor and honesty.
“The team that works here is the best I’ve ever worked with, from management to veterinarians on down! The clients are friendly, and I have fun with them.”
Lori has two dogs, an eight-year-old Poodle mix named Charley and a five-year-old German Shorthair Pointer named Pepper.
In the summer, Lori and her husband love spending a lot of time with their dogs at Mark Twain Lake. They also love taking long road trips throughout the states. In the winter, she loves doing puzzles with her mom.
Lucy, Customer Service Representative
With over 19 years of experience in the veterinary industry and a bachelor's degree in business administration, Lucy provides owners and co-workers with excellent service as she strives to help in any way that she can.
“I enjoy working at Bryan Road Animal Hospital because the owners are awesome, my co-workers are hardworking and fun, and I learn something new all of the time!”
Lucy has worked with retired racing greyhound adoptions and owned greyhounds for 29 years. She has a nine-month-old, blue-eyed leucistic ball python named Bella and a 20-month-old California king snake named Noodles. She also has a 90-gallon freshwater tropical fish tank with a blood parrot cichlid, rainbow fish, and clown loaches.
In her free time, Lucy spends her summers boating at the Lake of the Ozarks. She loves to fish off her dock, exercise, and spend time with family and friends.
