<? echo $title ?>Katie Sinclair, Registered Veterinary Technician, Office Manager

Katie Sinclair joined the team at Bryan Road Animal Hospital in March 2017. As our practice’s office manager, she is responsible for managing staff, continuing staff education, and managing day-to-day clinic activities. Katie has great organization skills, and her favorite part of the job is seeing happy pets and owners throughout the day.

“I love the fear-free environment and excellent staff dynamic at Bryan Road Animal Clinic,” Katie says.

Katie is a registered veterinary technician in Missouri. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Equine Science and an Associate degree in Veterinary Technology.

At home, Katie has a 14-year-old National Show Horse named Jack, a 10-year-old Peach-Front Conure parrot named Simon Says, and a 1-year-old Blue-Headed Pionus parrot name Arthur. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding and showing, gardening and cooking.

Sami joined the team in March 2014. As a veterinary technician, she is responsible for all technician duties while assisting the doctors throughout exams and surgery. She also assists with inventory and provides all social media posts for the hospital.

Sami has her associate's degree in applied animal science from the Vet Tech Institute at Hickey College. She has been working here ever since.

"I absolutely love my job! I learn something new every day and enjoy caring for our patients", she says. "There isn't a day I don't enjoy being at work!"

When not at work, Sami enjoys being outdoors, fishing, boating on the river, hiking and watching the Cardinals play baseball.

<? echo $title ?>Elizabeth Donnelly, Registered Veterinary Technician

Registered Veterinary Technician Elizabeth Donnelly joined the team at Bryan Road Animal Hospital in July 2014, and she's already become known for bringing a smiling face, a positive attitude, and a willingness to assist with anything she can to the hospital. Her responsibilities include monitoring anesthesia, filling prescriptions, checking in patients, and assisting doctors during examinations.

Elizabeth, who earned her Associate's degree from the Vet Tech Institute at Hickey College, says there's nothing about her job that she doesn't love. "Our caring, knowledgeable veterinarians make coming into the clinic every day a joy," she says. "I love animals as it is, but being able to work with such an amazing staff and clientele makes helping care for pets even better."

Elizabeth is the pet parent of three cats—Chewy, Garcia, and Jade. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends, watching movies, reading, and making fun stuff she finds on Pinterest.

<? echo $title ?>Lyse O'Donnell, Registered Veterinary Technician

Educating clients on the best ways to help keep their pets happy and healthy is what registered veterinary technician Lyse O’Donnell enjoys most about working here at Bryan Road Animal Hospital. Some of Lyse’s responsibilities include assisting as a surgery technician, dental hygienist, veterinary nurse, and receptionist.

Prior to joining our team as a full-time member in July of 2017, Lyse worked as a registered veterinary technician at Vet Stop Animal Clinic from 2012 to 2015, and at Wentzville Veterinary Clinic from 2015 to 2017. She has over 6 years in the animal related field, and possesses am Associates degree in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology.

In her free time, Lyse enjoys spending as much time as she can with her family and friends. She likes to cook and bake, and also loves going to old/classic car shows and shopping at antique malls or garage sales. At home, Lyse has 3 calico cats named Marbles, Cicada Bug, and Mimic.

<? echo $title ?>Morgan Lammert, Registered Veterinary Technician

Morgan is our full-time registered veterinary technician here at Bryan Road Animal Hospital and has been with our team since October 2017. She assists our doctors during patient appointments, checks patients in and out, performs lab tests and helps educate our clients to better understand pet care. Her positive attitude and fun personality makes both patients and clients more comfortable during their visit.

“I really like working with the doctors, technicians, and clients,” Morgan says. “I also appreciate that we practice fear free [treatment]; any way we can keep a patient calm makes for a better visit.”

In her free time, Morgan loves spending time outdoors, especially with her three dogs – Maddie a Beagle, Bayley a Jack Russell mix, and a Shih Tsu. Morgan also owns a black cat named Apollo. She enjoys hiking small trails, hunting, fishing, and playing sports. Of course, she also enjoys going to a Blues or Cardinals game when she gets the chance!

Veterinary technician Megan Fix joined Bryan Road Animal Hospital in April 2015. She has an Associate's Degree in Applied Animal Science, and graduated from the Vet Tech Institute at Hickey College. Her duties include assisting doctors in exams and surgeries, lab work, filling prescriptions, reception work, and educating our clients. Providing education and helping clients, Megan says, are her favorite parts of the position.

"Everyone here is very upbeat and friendly, and we all go above and beyond to care for all our patients," she explains. "There's a wide variety of species we see and care for, and I enjoy every day and every pet."

Megan shares her home with six pets, including Boxers Lucy, Duke, and Indi, cats Josie and Simon, and a Ball Python. In her free time she enjoys being outside, fishing, playing volleyball, or staying in and watching a good movie.

Veterinary technician Mary Fontana joined the team at Bryan Road Animal Hospital in August of 2015, but she's been working with animals in some capacity for over 15 years. At our animal hospital, she's charged with greeting clients and their pets in the examination room, then compiling pet histories, drawing blood, radiographs, and running tests for parasites. Her favorite part of the job is any time she has the opportunity to help calm an anxious pet during a procedure.

"I love working at Bryan Road because of the laid-back, family-style atmosphere," Mary says. "My fellow employees are as passionate as I am about the level of care our patients deserve. We're also committed to making our clients feel comfortable during appointments."

At home, Mary is the pet parent to two dogs named Guenevere and Roscoe, and a cat named Donald. In her free time she enjoys biking, going for nature walks, swimming, and working in her yard. Mary also attends church at the Crossing, where she volunteers on a weekly basis.

Veterinary Technician Jena Christiansen joined the team at Bryan Road Animal Hospital in May 2016. Her job responsibilities include drawing up vaccines, helping our veterinarians during exams, taking histories from clients about their pets and drawing patient’s blood. Jena says her favorite part of the job is helping sick pets feel better again. She brings a bubbly and positive attitude to work each and every day.

This is Jena’s first job in the animal care field. She earned her Veterinary Technician Specialized Degree from the Vet Tech Institute at Hickey College. Jena says, “I love the family environment at Bryan Road Animal Hospital. Every employee is very welcoming to clients and their pets. This clinic is also Fear Free, which means we do everything we can to make pets comfortable and happy during their visits.”

Jena lives on a family farm with her fiance and 1 and 1/2 year-old daughter, Savannah. On their farm, they have two Rhodesian Ridgebacks named Harley and Ruby, as well as chickens, ducks and two Great Pyrenes named Max and Marley. Jena also owns a 4-year-old Siberian husky named Logan. In her spare time, Jena enjoys spending time with her loved ones, boating on the Mississippi River with her friends, barbequing, hiking with Logan, watching movies, traveling and trying new things.

Brittany joined the staff of Bryan Road Animal Hospital in 2016 as a veterinary technician. She has her Bachelor of Science degree in general studies with an emphasis in animal science from Southeast Missouri State. She hopes to attend Hickey College’s associate degree program for veterinary technology in the future to become a registered veterinary technician.

Currently, Brittany’s job responsibilities include lab work, monitoring anesthesia, assisting doctors during exams, filling prescriptions and administering laser therapy.

Brittany brings a positive and sunny spirit to the Bryan Road Animal Hospital team. “I love caring for animals who can’t help themselves,” she says. “Seeing the ‘smile’ on the animals once they heal is so rewarding.”

Outside of work, her love of animals continues as she's a foster mom for several local shelters and humane societies. She has four dogs and two cats in addition to fostering a dog, cat or litter throughout the year. Her pets include: Ginger, an 8-year-old Pekingese mix; Bruce, a 3-year-old Boxer; Thor, a 3-year-old Boxer; Trixie, a 3-year-old Husky; and two cats, Oreo and Yoda.

When she’s not caring for animals, Brittany enjoys making trips to local wineries, traveling, going to the Cardinals and Blues games, and spending time with family.

Heather Collins joined the staff at Bryan Road Animal Hospital in May 2017. She brings ambition and integrity to her role as a Registered Veterinary Technician, where she is responsible for checking patients in and out, running bloodwork, performing urinalysis and ear/skin cytology, trimming nails and drawing blood. Heather has an Associate degree in Veterinary Technology and is studying to take the national examination.

“I enjoy working at Bryan Road Animal Hospital because of the amazing technicians and doctors I work with,” Heather says. “I get an opportunity to learn something new every day.”

At home, Heather has a 7-year-old pit bull named Phoenix, a 5-year-old pit bull named Sadie, a 4-year-old pit bull named Tucker and a 1-year-old domestic shorthair cat named Milo. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys cooking, fishing, walking her dogs and spending time with family.
