Community Involvement
At Bryan Road Animal Hospital we take great pride in helping our community and the pets that make it great.
Animal Welfare
Our efforts to better animal welfare include offering a free first exam for any pet adopted from a shelter or rescue group. Bryan Road Animal Hospital also makes donations to area shelters for their fundraisers and other special events. We work closely with All Paws Animal Rescue, which is a locally founded all volunteer group. We provide our services at a low cost to these pets in need of adoption, allowing them to get the healthcare they need in order to find their forever homes.
Tours
Tours are another fun way for us to give back to the community. We have hosted tours for local Girl Scout groups and elementary classes. Some of our technicians have given talks at local schools and shelters, in an effort to help educate others on animal care.
Teaching
Teaching is just another way to give back to our community. We work with veterinary technician schools to allow internships for those training to become certified veterinary technicians. We also help provide shadowing hours for students applying to veterinary school.
Open House
One of our favorite ways to engage with the community is through our annual Open House, with free food, live music, a petting zoo, animal adoptions, a bouncy house, demonstrations, raffles and hospital tours.
The community involvement extends beyond just our walls. Many of our staff, veterinarians and veterinary technicians alike, donate their personal time off the clock to help a local spay-neuter-release program for stray and abandoned cats. The clinic is held once monthly and there is always someone from the clinic there.
We are active members of the O'Fallon Chamber of Commerce and the O'Fallon Young Professionals Group.
